Flood Risk

View from Charlottetown Ferry

In this section, we examine how flooding risk might change with possible increases in global sea level, storminess, and so on.

The approach we have used is probabilistic. For a given location we calculate the probability that a given level will be exceeded as a function of time from the present.

The calculations to date have focused on Charlottetown.  To view the results for this location, please explore the links on the left.
